300 homes proposed for Bristol site
Proposals have been put forward to develop 300 houses in Bristol as part of a council-backed programme.The scheme is proposed for land off Broomhill Road in Brislington designated for housing development. It could be delivered through a joint venture agreement between Bristol City Council, developers and majority site owner Olympia and Hammersmith.A total of 300 new homes, including 90 affordable properties, could be built as part of a wider commitment to construct 2,000 houses a year by 2020.The council will discuss a number of access options at a meeting of the cabinet next week (1 November 2016).
