A site with planning permission for a 307-bed student property has been sold to developer Crosslane.The city centre plot at The Kingsway is earmarked for a 14-storey development of student housing and is situated near the main retail and leisure facilities in Swansea.The scheme includes 81 en-suite bedrooms arranged in cluster flats and 26 individual studios.Knight Frank acted for vendors NMJ Property Developments.The site is one of a number that have received planning consent for development into student accommodation within the city, reflecting the need in Swansea for more purpose-built accommodation to satisfy the growing student population.
