400 new apartments planned for Digbeth
Proposals have been revealed to overhaul two derelict sites in Digbeth and transform them into residential schemes comprising 400 apartments and commercial space.The plans were drawn up by architecture practice WCEC on behalf of developer ESRG. They include the partial demolition, refurbishment and erection of new buildings at 234 to 236 Bradford Street to create 162 one-bedroom and 131 two-bedroom flats.The second project at 250 and 251 Bradford Street will comprise an apartment building with 148 units rising to nine storeys.Combined, both schemes will include nine ground floor commercial units, as well as parking spaces for cars and bikes.
