£5 million additional funding for Stirling and Clackmannanshire

City Region to receive £50.1 million in total from the Scottish Government (May 31st).Additional investment of £5 million will be made by the Scottish Government in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region.The extra funding, which is in addition to £45.1 million of investment in the deal, will mean the Scottish Government is investing £50.1 million over the next 10 years to deliver the best outcomes for the city region, delivering transformative inclusive growth.The extra investment will deliver a new Business Park at Kildean and will support the next stage of development of the proposed new infrastructure at Callander.These projects, made possible by the additional investment of the Scottish Government, have the potential to deliver further growth through leverage of private sector investment of £175 million and delivering over 1,000 new jobs for the region.
