£58m residential scheme to create 120 jobs
Avant Homes has acquired 25-acres of land in the Nottinghamshire village of Awsworth where it plans to deliver 250 new homes – with the development expected to support 120 jobs.The £58m scheme on Shilo Way will include a mixture of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties.Construction will begin in November should planning chiefs give the go-ahead. The scheme is expected to take four years to complete.Avant Homes will also commit a community contribution of £1.7m to support local education, public transport and open green space maintenance.Avant Homes Central managing director Chris Coley said: “Awsworth is very desirable location and if granted planning, this new development will provide much-needed high quality homes for buyers in the area.“We are committed to creating developments that offer well-designed homes in excellent locations that meet the needs of modern lifestyles.
