60 homes to be built between Nottingham and Mansfield
Nearly 60 homes are to be constructed between Nottingham and Mansfield after councillors voted through the proposals.Landridge Homes has won permission for the scheme for 57 homes on 5.5 acres of land adjacent to Dark Lane in Calverton.Gedling Borough Council’s planning committee made a final decision on the application.A council document published ahead of the meeting said: “The proposed development would take place on a site that is identified as a housing commitment with the Local Planning Document and would be of an acceptable layout, design, density, would not have an undue impact upon residential amenity, designated heritage assets, ecological considerations, existing landscape features or highway safety.”
