£8m deal paves way for housing scheme
Farland Developments has purchased a 2.5-acre site in Gloucestershire in a deal worth £8m and is now set to begin work on a new housing development later this year.The deal will enable the construction of the 30-home Chapel Gate development to begin in autumn 2017.The scheme, located on the outskirts of Newent, was granted planning permission in August 2016. It was designed by the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community and comprises a mixture of villas, cottages, mews and affordable houses (12 homes), integrated streets and green space.
