Acquisition paves way for housing scheme on brownfield site
A 4.5-acre brownfield site in Chapmanslade, Wiltshire, that formed part of a commercial plant nursery is to be redeveloped after the land was acquired.Newland homes, whose previous work in Wiltshire includes the redevelopment of the former Ushers brewery site and bottling plant, has bought the plot which was granted detailed planning permission in 2019 for 43 residential dwellings.Next year marks the 30th year in operation for Newland Homes, which is based in Gloucester.Savills acted as selling agents for the site.
