Agricultural land earmarked for almost 200 homes
The construction of almost 200 homes has been proposed for agricultural land in Leicestershire.Developer Taylor Wimpey has lodged outline plans to build up 195 properties on land north of Barkby Road in Syston.Extending to approximately 20.4 acres, the application site comprises two agricultural fields.It is intended that 30 per cent of the scheme be allocated as affordable, with parking to be provided predominantly on-plot.A green infrastructure network is also proposed, including areas of informal open space and an equipped play area.
