Almost 200 homes proposed in Leicestershire
Plans have been submitted for the development of almost 200 new homes within a Leicestershire village.David Wilson Homes is seeking outline approval from Charnwood Borough Council to build up 170 residential properties on land east of Cossington Road in Sileby.The site consists of a single agricultural field and extends to approximately 25.1 acres.The applicant intends to provide both market and affordable housing in a mixture of flats, terraced units, semi-detached and detached family homes.It is expected that the affordable element of the proposal will account for 30 per cent of the scheme.Additionally, approximately 14.5 acres of open space would be provided as part of the development.
