Amended housing plans tipped for approval
Amended housing plans for a site in Leicestershire have been recommended for approval ahead of a planning committee meeting next week.Gusto Homes is seeking the go-ahead to build almost 40 homes to the south of Manor Road in Eastthorpe.The application has been amended from the originally proposed 47 dwellings to 36.It includes two-storey dwellings and over-55 bungalows with a mix comprising two, three, four and five-bed properties.The application site comprises two parcels of land, straddling Green Lane. The eastern portion accommodates Easthorpe Lodge and associated grounds, while the western portion is a paddock.Plans will be reviewed by Melton Borough Council’s planning committee on 16 September.
