Approval for first phase of marina scheme
The first phase of the Fishguard Harbour Marina mixed-use scheme has been approved.The development, which is being progressed by the Conygar Stena Line joint venture between The Conygar Investment Company and Stena Line, incorporates five stages, with the first focused on infrastructure.Included within the consent is permission for a 20.5-acre development platform; two breakwaters; 345 floating marina berths; and a dredged marina basin.The completed Fishguard Harbour Marina project will consist of a commercial area, residential apartments and retail facilities. A new, publicly-accessible promenade and waterfront would also be incorporated, together with visitor parking.
