Approval for Housing Plans on Bruker Uk Headquarters
Plans for a major housing scheme on the site of the existing Bruker UK Ltd headquarters in Coventry have been approved. A proposed replacement home for the company has also secured the go-ahead.Bruker UK sought the go-ahead from Coventry City Council to redevelop the site of its headquarters on Banner Lane to provide up to 120 residential properties.The proposal includes the demolition of the existing Bruker UK facility, which comprises offices, laboratories/workshops and stores.The residential plans comprise single, two-storey and three-storey houses and three and four-storey apartments. This includes two, three and four-bed properties, for both market and affordable housing.Bruker’s plans for its new headquarters have also been considered.The premises would be located on the adjoining site and be accompanied by nine car parking spaces for visitors to the front of the three-storey building, with staff parking at the rear for 36 spaces. Cycle storage is also provided.Both applications have been approved, subject to conditions.
