Approval for micro pub proposals
Plans to establish a new micro pub in Morecambe have narrowly secured approval.Proposed is changing the use of a ground floor commercial unit on Lancaster Road. It previously operated as a bridal shop.Lined up is a micro pub, with the seating area and bar towards the rear of the unit.The application went before Lancaster City Council’s planning committee with a recommendation for approval.However, upon being put to vote it secured three in favour, three against and seven abstentions. The committee chair cast the deciding vote in favour.
