Approval for New Flats on Old Battery Recycling Site
A bid to construct new apartments on an old battery recycling and waste collection site in Wolverhampton has been approved.The former G&P Batteries site in Grove Street, Health Town, has been earmarked for the scheme which would see a four-storey building erected with 56 two-bedroom flats.Wexham Homes in Slough is behind the bid.The original plan for the site called for 92 apartments in a five-storey building.The scheme has now received the green light, subject to conditions.
