Approval for new offshore wind farm
Approval has been granted for a new wind farm off the East Coast of England.The Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm has been awarded development consent by secretary of state for business, energy and industrial strategy Alok Sharma.The new wind farm is set to have a capacity of up to 2,400MW.The approval follows on from a six-month examination in 2019, during which the public, statutory consultees and interested parties were invited to give evidence.
