Approval for Sci-Tech Daresbury office and laboratory complex
Plans have been approved for Ultraviolet, a 180,000 sq ft office and laboratory complex at Sci-Tech Daresbury. It forms the next phase of the scheme within the campus and will be located next to Project Violet, a £17.8m three-building speculative office development. This itself is still under construction but set to open shortly with numerous firms already set to locate to the new facilities.Halton Borough Council’s planning committee has backed the Ultraviolet plans.Sci-Tech Daresbury is a partnership between Langtree, the Science & Technology Facilities Council and Halton Council.Spawforths is the planning advisor for the project, which is designed by Seven Architecture.Project manager 4ward Management, structural engineer Arup, transport consultant Curtins and landscape consultant Planit-IE make up the professional team.
