Approval lined up for Preston scheme
Plans for the second phase of a major Preston project look set to advance.BXB Cottam Properties is behind the development, which is taking place at the former Cottam Brickworks site.Proposed is an Aldi store, 89 homes and 118,400 sq ft of flexible retail and commercial accommodation.The scheme is forecast to generate 170 jobs for the area, with a further 271 jobs during the construction phase.The application is set to go before Preston City Council’s planning committee today, with approval recommended.
