Approval nears for 260-home development
A 260-home development is poised to receive the green light after receiving a positive recommendation from planning officers.The plans for the site in Caerphilly have been submitted on behalf of Redrow Homes.Of the homes, 36 will be for social rent with 24 to be low cost housing. Construction of the entire development is scheduled to take six to seven years.The development’s layout, scale and appearance is due to be discussed by Caerphilly County Borough Council’s planning committee, having previously received outline approval on appeal.Caerphilly County Borough Council’s planning committee will discuss the proposal on Wednesday 19 June.
