Approval recommended for new Lincolnshire homes
A major housing development on agricultural land in Lincolnshire has been recommended for approval.Larkfleet Homes and The Bettinson Trustees are seeking the go-ahead from South Kesteven District Council to build 121 properties on the northern side of Manning Road in Bourne.The housing mix comprises 85 market dwellings and 36 affordable dwellings, with a range of different sized properties from one to four bedrooms.The majority of dwellings would be two-storey, with some having additional accommodation in the roof space.The layout shows properties served off a single access road off Manning Road and includes detached, semi-detached and short terraces.Additionally, the majority of the open space is laid out on the western side of the site and includes a small children’s play area and drainage feature.
