Approval tipped to replace office building with flats
An office block in a Northamptonshire town could be knocked down and replaced by apartments after the green light was recommended.Milton Keynes-based Grand Union Housing Group is seeking the go-ahead to demolish its base at Wood Burcote House, Towcester, and construct a three-storey building with 20 flats.The scheme would also include 40 car parking spaces, down from the current 59, if the go-ahead is granted by South Northamptonshire Council at a virtual meeting of its planning committee on Thursday 29 October.
