Armfield academy contractor appointed
A Preston-based construction company has been appointed to lead a multimillion-pound design-and-build project at Armfield Academy in Blackpool.The scheme was awarded to Conlon Construction as part of the Education Funding Agency (EFA) Regional Contractors Framework.It involves the contractor refurbishing existing accommodation and constructing new buildings on the site of the former independent school on Lytham Road.Overall completion is expected in the spring of 2019.
