Avison Young appointed to restoration project
Avison Young has been appointed to provide valuation services for the restoration of former railway buildings in Barry.The real estate advisory firm is consulting on The Goodshed project, developed by Loft Co.”The aim of this scheme is to bring together a new urban High Street which effectively provides a 24/7 live, work and play environment,” said Simon Baston, Loft Co owner.Plans for The Goodshed include the conversion of the ground floor to provide three retail units with 11 residential apartments above. Located opposite The Pumphouse, another development by Loft Co, all the residential units have been pre-sold and the commercial units pre-let before work has begun.Refurbished shipping containers behind the Goodshed building will be used as shops, offices and restaurants.
