Barratt to start work on south west projects
Housebuilder Barratt is set to start work on two South West developments, supporting the creation of up to 1,000 jobs.The company will begin work at Redwood Heights in Plympton and Lucerne Fields in Ivybridge in spring 2017.The Plympton scheme comprises 190 new homes together with funding for children’s play equipment, a contribution towards sports pitches, highway improvements and the creation of a public open space.In Ivybridge the 222-home scheme will be created together with a landscaped play area together with a cycle link from the site to the town centre and contributions towards improving air quality, education and ecology in the area.
