Blacks Solicitors advises on planning permission for major development
Leeds-based Blacks Solicitors has helped secure outline planning permission for a 123.5-acre housing development near Daventry.The scheme will create a sustainable urban extension of up to 1,100 homes, a two-form entry primary school and a local centre, providing a substantial contribution towards West Northamptonshire’s housing supply.Led by James Cook of Blacks Solicitors, and working alongside Hawksmoor, Knight Frank and Nexus Planning, the firm’s planning team supported construction company Stepnell Developments to secure planning permission and the completion of the associated Section 106 Agreement.Stepnell Developments has subsequently agreed the disposal of the site with Spitfire Homes.Blacks Solicitors was chosen thanks to its experience of advising on the legal issues arising from the promotion and development of residential-led, mixed use sustainable urban extensions through the planning process.
