Bouygues to start on £240m Canning Town scheme
Bouygues UK’s development arm Linkcity has signed agreements to start the £240m third phase of Hallsville Quarter at Canning Town in east London.Phase three will contain 278 private rental homes across two blocks forward funded by Grainger .It will also have 143 shared ownership (or private sale units), 199 affordable homes including 50 extra-care apartments owned and managed by One Housing Group.Linkcity will retain 88,049 sq ft of retail and leisure space which they intend to let or sell to a commercial investor.Bouygues will build the latest phase with work due to be completed in 2024.Around a third of the construction workforce will be recruited locally in Newham.
