Car supermarket proposed following land sale
A used car supermarket could be developed in Swansea following the sale of a site by Swansea Council for about £2m.Day’s Motor Group, which operates car dealerships across South Wales, has acquired the 7.65-acre development site off Clase Road in Llansamlet.It is now exploring the possibility of a used car supermarket, as well as other options including a mixed-use scheme incorporating an element of industrial or retail use, and an investment opportunity.Commercial property consultancy Knight Frank advised Swansea Council on the marketing and sale of the land, which has been disused for a number of years.
