Care home planned for uncompleted apartment blocks site
Plans to build a care home on the site of two uncompleted apartment blocks in Leicester which have stood empty for more than a decade have been submitted.Land in Monsell Drive, Alyestone, has been earmarked for the scheme which would see the construction of a two and three-storey care home.A total of 60 beds would be included while 55 new jobs have been lined up if Leicester City Council approves the proposals in the coming months.The application has been designed by TDC Architects on behalf of Avery Homes, which is part of Avery Healthcare.
