Cassiltoun pushes ahead with £5.7m plans to deliver 42 new affordable homes
The first phase of Cassiltoun Housing Association’s ambitious development plans will achieve a site start this month.The Association will complete 42 new homes on three sites known as ‘Barlia 3’. The development will consist of a mixture of general needs, wheelchair adaptable and amenity elderly housing.The project is being part funded by Glasgow City Council (£3.6 million) with private finance provided by CAF Bank and the Association contributing towards the total scheme costs.Cruden Building has been appointed to construct the development, while the design team is led by MAST Architects.
