CKH to bring 20 new homes to Offord Darcy
Investment in excess of £1.2 million is set to bring 20 new affordable homes to the village of Offord D’arcy, Huntingdonshire.Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority has approved £570,000 grant funding to support the Cross Keys Homes (CKH) development in the Huntingdonshire village. The funding comes in addition to a £75,000 grant from Homes England, the national housing agency launched by the Government in January, and £500,000 investment from CKH themselves.The funding will enable the delivery of 17 homes for affordable rent and three homes which will be available to buy through shared ownership. It is hoped the two and three bedroom homes will help to ease housing waiting times in the village where demand for homes is high due to a shortage of affordable options.Due for completion in early 2019, work has already begun on site.
