Clarke & Co to spearhead £40m project
Liverpool supported housing provider Clarke & Co is spearheading a £40m project to tackle homelessness across the North West.Backed by a consortium of private investors, the company has identified existing properties in the region – comprising 50 rooms – and is refurbishing them to a higher specification than would normally be found in accommodation for the homeless.Working with local authorities and The Whitechapel Centre, the scheme will offer accommodation, personal development and training opportunities. A further 150 rooms are planned.
