Clegg to build Peterborough care home
Clegg is building the 80-bed facility for Avery Healthcare within a larger development in Hampton Vale known as Hampton Gardens, which includes a convenience store, residential accommodation and a children’s nursery. This will be the third care home that Clegg has built for Avery Healthcare, with new homes in Derby and Norwich already under way.Clegg Construction contracts manager Simon Langley said that the three-storey facility had been designed to make best use of space available on siteand to limit the visual impact of the new building on neighbouring residential properties.“The proposed development offers a contemporary-styled care home facility that will be built to high standards to meet the much-needed demand for residential care facilities in Hampton Gardens and the wider area,” he said.
