Co Down firm Graham in £57m deal to build maternity hospital
Co Down firm Graham Construction is set to build the Royal Victoria new £57m maternity hospital in a joint venture with another company.Graham and Bam Ireland will develop the new facility, which will include delivery suites, obstetric theatres, a midwife-led unit and a neo-natal intensive care unit. The midwife-led unit will feature ensuite rooms and a birthing pool.Karen Brookes, director of capital planning and redevelopment for the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, said the trust was excited about the project.
