Construction underway on Bristol office scheme
Work is underway on a major new office building in Bristol.Developer Nord, together with main contractor Skanska, has started construction of One Portwall Square.The six storey, 33,750 sq ft commercial development is designed by architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and is located next to Bristol City Council’s 100 Temple Street office, close to Temple Meads Station in the city’s commercial district.One Portwall Square will feature generous workspaces, high ceilings, opening windows and sizeable south facing terraces on every upper floor as well as a new pocket square and cycling provisions.It is also committed to outstanding sustainability, will be built to BREEAM Excellent and EPC Rating A standards and connect into Bristol City Council’s District Heat Network for low carbon heating.One Portwall Square is due to complete in late 2021. Cushman & Wakefield Bristol is the agent for the scheme.
