Consultation launched on Liverpool FCs training ground
A consultation designed to help shape the future of Liverpool FC’s Melwood training ground has been launched.The site, which was acquired from the club by Torus last year, previously had permission for a residential development. However, no firm plans have been drawn up under the company, which will remain the case until the opinions of those in the area have been heard.The consultation sessions will last six months.Torus has also appointed We Make Places to work alongside the community to create a living heritage project; Memories of Melwood.Liverpool FC will be relocating to a first team and academy site in Kirkby.
