Contract for further A737 improvement awarded
Further work to improve the A737 moved a step closer today with the announcement that Transport Scotland intends to award the construction contract as part of a £9m project to realign a stretch of this key route (August 29th).Interserve Construction Limited, who has been awarded the contract for the A737 The Den Realignment, will be required to construct a one kilometre section of carriageway, situated between Beith and Dalry, including new junctions.The work will remove a series of sub-standard bends on the existing road, improve traffic flow and introduce safety benefits.
