Contractor appointed to build 127 affordable homes for NHS workers in Middlesex
Contractor and developer Real has been appointed by Spelthorne Council to build 127 new homes in Ashford.The project, known as Victory Place, was recently granted planning permission to provide affordable homes for NHS workers on the site of a former NHS overflow car park in Ashford, Middlesex.The scheme – designed by dn-a architects and will be project managed by Gleeds – will include five family homes, eight three-bedroom flats, 78 two-bedroom flats, and 36 one-bedroom flats.Spelthorne Council reached an agreement with Ashford & St Peter’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to acquire the land that made the scheme possible.As part of the deal, the new homes will be allocated to key workers as a priority.The project will also include electric vehicle charging points, air-source heat pumps, and brown roofs to help keep energy bills as affordable as possible.
