Contractor appointed to deliver new council homes in Renfrewshire
Plans to deliver 95 new council houses that meet the needs of local people in Johnstone Castle have taken a step forward as Renfrewshire Council approved the project’s contractor.A report recommending ENGIE Regeneration Limited is awarded the contract was given the green light at the council’s finance, resources and customer services policy board.Work is anticipated to start this summer to build a mix of two and three bedroom houses and own-door flats that will replace the tenement flats approved for demolition in 2014.
