Contractor starts work on Dover play area
Wicksteed Leisure has started work on the construction of a new play area at the Triangles Community Centre in St. Radigund’s, Dover.The new facilities are designed for children up to the age of 14, and will include a range of inclusive play equipment.There will also be a picnic area together with outdoor gym equipment.Dover District Council (DDC), with assistance from East Kent Housing, consulted with the local community in January 2017.DDC has appointed Wicksteed Leisure to carry out the works.Work by the council to develop play area facilities across the district has included new-look play areas in North Deal Playing Field, William Pitt Avenue and Wilson Avenue in Deal, as well as The Butts in Sandwich, Colton Crescent in Dover, and Aycliffe.
