Contractor wins £6m healthcare centre contract
Worcestershire-based contractor Speller Metcalfe has been appointed to build a £6m healthcare hub in the centre of Hereford.Healthcare property developers Prime awarded the contract to the firm through the PIC Framework which will see the medical centre built on a site close to the railway station.It will house five established city surgeries which are operated by the newly formed Hereford Medical Group.The health centre has been designed by Worcester-based architects One Creative Environments and will include facilities for an on-site pharmacy, 92 parking spaces, 14 cycle stands and an ambulance bay.
