Council eyes building for regeneration plans
A former post office building in Wolverhampton is set to be acquired by the city council as part of its regeneration plans.City of Wolverhampton Council is set to exercise its Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) powers on the owner of the property in Lichfield Street.The site has been unused for several years and now forms part of the authority’s city centre regeneration plans.Wolverhampton Grand Theatre is planning to expand its premises onto the neighbouring site for theatre, education and hospitality uses.
