Description: The Cultural Organisations Support grant programme is for not-for-profit cultural organisations ineligible to apply for the awarding authority Coronavirus Business Support Fund and facing significant threatThe grant programme will prioritise organisations that have to make adaptations to protect income and to ensure their sustainability.What projects will we support?The Cultural Organisations Support grants will support organisations facing a significant threat of closure, redundancies or loss of assets, and will support organisations to make the necessary adaptations to secure their future in the next financial year.Activity supported could include development work to reshape the organisation, essential posts in danger due to the impact of the pandemic, shortfalls in salaries and operating costs and start-up costs for new income generating activity.The grants cannot support new posts, purchase of capital equipment or additional premises costs unrelated to the development of new income generating activity, redundancy costs, the repayment of debts or loans and any activity restricted by the Scottish Government Covid-19 guidelines at the time of application.You can find the full list of supported activities in the Guidance for Applicants.Who can apply?The fund is reserved for Renfrewshire-based organisations that have a cultural or creative purpose.You can apply if your organisation is a voluntary or community organisation, registered charity, social enterprise or a community interest company (CIC).We cannot accept applications from individuals, shareholding organisations that generate private profits, or applications made by one organisation on behalf of another.5.
