Derby College building sold in £14m deal
A building let to Derby College until October 2029 has been sold for £14m.Orchard Street Investment Management, advised by Gerald Eve, sold the further education building to The Local Authorities’ Property Fund, managed by CCLA.The Johnson Building is located on Locomotive Way, south east of the city centre.Offering a range of educational facilities, it is one of four buildings occupied by Derby College in the Pride Park area, as part of its Roundhouse campus.Neighbouring Pride Park occupiers include Rolls Royce, Network Rail and Derby County Football Club.Orchard Street was advised by Gerald Eve, while Colliers acted on behalf of CCLA.
