Designs revealed for Manchester’s £200m Angel Meadow
Far East Consortium (FEC) has revealed its plans for a £200m residential development in Manchester.Property developer FEC, which has a portfolio of property in Australia, China, and South-east Asia, has outlined its vision to deliver more than 750 homes across the Angel Meadow scheme, which forms part of Manchester’s flagship NOMA development.FEC was appointed as developer for the site in August last year.The designs will include a 41-storey tower, which features winter gardens on every seventh storey, as well as ground-floor retail and leisure units, all of which will link to the existing Angel Meadow Park in the area.They also feature two further towers of 22 and 17 storeys, as well as a smaller building which ranges between 9 and twelve storeys in height.Designed by 5plus Architects, the Angel Meadow project is open for public consultation until 7 April this year, with a formal planning application expected by the end of the month.Subject to planning, the project is expected to get under way by the end of 2017, with the first homes complete by 2019.
