Detailed housing plans for former golf club move forward
Detailed plans for more than 350 homes as part of a housing scheme on the site of a former golf club in Worcestershire have moved forward.Bloor Homes sought reserved matters approval to build 353 properties on land at the former North Worcestershire Golf Club. Outline planning permission was granted on appeal in July 2019 for the demolition of the club house and the development of up to 950 homes. During the appeal, the proposal was amended to 800 dwellings and this was conditioned within the secretary of state approval.The current application represents the second phase of development and will comprise one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units, 34 per cent of which would be allocated as affordable.Proposals will be reviewed by Birmingham City Council’s planning committee on 24 February.The application has been approved, subject to conditions
