Detailed plans submitted for 190-home development in Bathgate
Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has submitted plans to West Lothian Council to deliver 190 new homes at Sibbalds Wynd in Bathgate.The proposals include two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, along with new play areas, bus stops, open space, a footpath and cycle links together with associated infrastructure.The land at Sibbalds Brae was granted Planning Permission in Principle (PPiP) earlier this year. Taylor Wimpey’s application for Approval of Matters Specified by Condition (AMSC) will build on the outline design framework, integrating the proposed new development with the existing housing near the boundary of the site.The new homes include proposals for electric vehicle charging points and Solar PV panels. A sustainable urban drainage system will be designed to manage surface water. A green corridor will also be introduced, providing a wildlife link to Little Boghead Nature Park.
