Details emerge of Salford Quays tower
Further details of a major residential scheme in Salford Quays have been revealed after a reserved matters application for the project’s 29-storey tower was submitted.Salford City Council unanimously approved outline consent for Anchorage Gateway in November last year.Now, a detailed application for the 250,640 main element has been brought forward.Designed by Chapman Taylor, it would comprise ground, mezzanine and 27 levels of residential accommodation offering 290 one, two and three-bedroom apartments.Also proposed is 4,000 sq ft of commercial space, two shared residential landscaped terraces and rooftop penthouse apartments.As part of its commitment to the area, Cole Waterhouse will pay £1.3m towards local projects, including improvements to Ordsall Park, Monmouth Park and Montford Street Park.The delivery team includes WSP|Indigo Planning, Renaissance, Novo, Exterior Architecture, Henry Riley and Ward Hadaway.
