Details emerge on mixed-use Medway scheme
Plans for a mixed-use development in Medway have been revealed.Lined up for a site on Stoke Road is a project comprising 139 homes, a nursery, a multi-use game area and a trio of commercial units.A cafe is also lined up for the Hoo scheme.A screening opinion request for the development has been submitted to Medway Council, which is looking for an opinion on whether or not the scheme would require an Environmental Impact Assessment.The report said: “While the decision will rest with Medway Council, this screening request concludes that the proposed development does not require an EIA, as it is not considered likely to result in significant environmental effects.”
