Developer seeks to increase housing density at former Bonnington office building
Glencairn Properties has submitted revised plans for its proposed residential transformation of a vacant office building in the Bonnington district of Edinburgh.The plans which were approved earlier this year.The developer was granted planning permission in March to deliver a mix of 58 private and affordable apartments at the Ashley Place site.Now a Proposal of Application Notice has been lodged which sees the number of homes increased to 75 and the introduction of commercial use.A public consultation for the ISA Architects-designed plans will go online on September 7.
