Developer set to finish school project in April

A Northampton developer is expected to finish work to create a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) facility at a Rutland secondary school in April.Steele and Bray, which was established in 1946, was appointed to the project at Uppingham Community College in September and started on the project in November.Work to repurpose accessible areas of the school and transform it into a bespoke learning environment for children with SEND, a significant milestone recently following the installation of a centrepiece roof light for one of the main SEND classrooms.Kettering-based GSSArchitecture is also working on the scheme.
